Sustainability at Cotswold Campervan Stays

Before I even started the glamping site back in 2017 I knew that I wanted it to be as environmentally friendly as possible and to do ‘very little harm’. I am carrying this forward with the new business too.

With every decision I have tried to make the best choices for us and the environment.

We may be small but I really believe that if we all make good choices it adds up and especially so in the tourism/hospitality industry which can be shockingly wasteful.

In 2024 I volunteered to become a Sustainability Champion for Cotswold Tourism who are encouraging other businesses to adopt greener practices. I think this scheme is brilliant as we can all learn from each other and pick up tips and ideas to improve what we do.

Here’s a link to the video they created at Campden Yurts:

An independent, family and dog-friendly campervan and motorhome site with a welcoming touch.

Welcome to Cotswold Campervan Stays!

A unique place where you can come, park up and enjoy the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.

We are close to many wonderful attractions and surrounded by fields, hills and picturesque Cotswold towns and villages.

Our small, friendly site will have spaces for 5 vehicles and 5 single/double tent pitches in a separate field for walkers.

There are 2 light and airy bathrooms, one extra toilet and a kitchen room with 2 large sinks for easy washing up.

Campfires and bbq’s can be hired and wood bought on site.

We welcome singles, couples and families and well behaved dogs (for their safety, they will need to be kept on leads)

Chipping Campden is a short walk away and we are located on one of the roads out of town so we do get some traffic noise at key times.
