Are you looking for camping in Chipping Campden?
If you are walking one of the local or regional national trails like The Cotswold Way, The Heart of England Way, Diamond Way or the Monarch’s Way, or are just exploring the area on foot with a tent strapped to your back and looking for camping in Chipping Campden – we finally have it to offer!
As we change from a glamping site to a campervan/motorhome site we are also adding 5 pitches for tent campers in a separate field. We will not be a family campsite but dedicated to walkers (aged 13yrs+ if accompanied by an adult).
You will have access to facilities (shared with campervan guests) of bathrooms with electric showers, kitchen room with washing up sinks, electric kettle and microwave and we may even pop a toaster in there too. There is also the communal shelter with table and seating, giving you space out of the elements.
As we get closer to opening, more information will be added here including about our little shop selling essential supplies – I am told that blister treatment packs and the tips of walking sticks would be good to stock.
We also hope to provide self-serve, quick to make breakfast bundles that can be pre-booked. We are looking at overnight oats kits, dried fruit, nuts, tortillas and will expand these once we are up and going! We may also stock a selection of frozen ready meals that can be devoured at the end of the day if you are too tired to cook or walk back into Chipping Campden to visit the pubs/bistro’s.
The pitches are for up to 2 people so if you are coming with a larger group you will need to book extra pitches.
We recommend pre-booking as we have limited space and are the only place offering camping in Chipping Campden. The booking system will soon be operational – we are just waiting on an opening date which we hope will be end of August/September 2026. Please get in touch if you need more information.
