We appreciate you may have some questions and we have yet to finalise our dog-policy but we do hope to continue to be dog friendly to those in vehicles and tents. As we will no longer have a designated enclosed dog area on site, we will have to work around keeping your dogs and local livestock safe and under control.
DOGS ON LEADS: We have free-range chickens on site and are surrounded by sheep and other livestock on the farms that surround us THEREFORE all dogs will need to be kept on a lead while on site. We are also alongside a road so this is for your dog’s safety too.
When free of sheep/lambs, our bottom field can be used for exercising you dog.
Many places in Chipping Campden and surrounding area are dog friendly.
We charge x for up to 2 dogs for the duration of your stay.
Local places to visit
The Cotswolds is certainly popular with dog-lovers. From the fantastic walks, dog-friendly pubs and tearooms to the various pet shops sporting country wear for your dog – we have it all!
Invariably when out walking you will need to check fields for sheep before allowing your dog off the lead, and respect any signs that are asking you to keep your dog on a lead. The Cotswolds are full of sheep and livestock so it isn’t always possible to say which fields are ok to go free in – it can change week to week.
Dogs are welcome at Batsford Arboretum, Hidcote Manor Gardens and the Cotswold Wildlife Park although they do need to be kept on a lead.
