Family-friendly campervan stays in the Cotswolds

We are a small site offering family friendly campervan stays (motorhomes welcome too). With just 5 pitches (and 5 single tent pitches for walkers) we never get crazy busy with lots of people around. This means we are great for those who are looking for a more intimate site where the children can be safe but free to roam.

We don’t have a designated outdoor play area (there is a great recreational ground in Campden) but we do have a dresser with board games, books and activities in our communal shelter, and space for firepits and games.

Our family friendly bathrooms

Our bathrooms are spacious, light and close by so children are happy to use them on their own (when they are old enough). They are also clearly in sight so parents/grandparents have peace of mind about where their children are. There is plenty of room for a little one to play outside the shower cubicle while mum/dad showers.

We provide a step so children can reach the sink/toilet without having to be lifted. We can also provide a nappy change table is needed.

Having flushing toilets mean children aren’t worried about using long-drop or compost loos and our showers are electric. We can provide a plastic ‘trugg’ for bathing babies – or simply use the large kitchen sinks for a quick dip.

Family friendly campervan stays  – activities and things to do on site

Many families spend the whole day on the site, enjoying the chance to slow down and reconnect with each other. We have a good stash of board games for all ages including scrabble and Cotswold Monopoly so you get the chance to own some of the wonderful landmarks in the area – even if just for a short while!

We also have fun games like Buckaroo, the yes/no game and others that will keep you entertained. For younger guests we have a little garage with some hot wheel cars, fire engines and police cars, plus some dinosaurs.

For those who love to colour there are mindful colouring books and colouring pencils and pebbles to paint.

We have 3 highchairs for our younger guests, stored in the communal shelter, so no need to bring one with you.

Pizza Parties at our family friendly campervan site

Pizza parties are always a hit with our young guests. It’s a meal they can get totally involved with and even those who don’t particularly like eating pizzas just love making them for everyone else.

The dough and sauce are provided so you just bring the cheese and toppings that you like and Jane will lead you through the process of making pizzas. We then cook them in Bob our pizza oven.

It is really hands on and a great way to get your children into cooking, letting them be independent or giving them some help to roll the dough if they need it

Cooking made easy

We are still thinking what facilities we will have available for those who are using the tent pitches – or if we can assume guests will bring everything they need with them…it’s still to be decided!

There is a microwave, kettle and toaster in the kitchen room.

We have a barrel bbq or grills to use over your firepit for cooking your bbq on. Charcoal is available here too.
