🏕️ About Our Site
Where is Cotswold Campervan Stays located?
We’re a short, 20‑minute walk from the historic market town of Chipping Campden in the North Cotswolds. You can cut through our bottom field and pick up the roadside pathway that will take you down into the town.
We are on the North West outskirts of Chipping Campden, off the B4035. The entrance to Cotswold Campervan Stays is directly off Kingcombe Lane so no narrow lanes to navigate!
Our site is perfectly placed for exploring nearby attractions including Broadway Tower, Hidcote Manor Gardens, and Snowshill Manor.
What types of pitches do you offer?
We offer 5 gravelled, level campervan/motorhome pitches. Each is 8m x 4m with grass between each pitch. 4 will have EHU
Our site is on a hillside so the roadway is on a slight incline but the pitches are level.
We also offer 5 tent pitches for walkers. Tent pitches are for solo walkers only, not for family/holiday groups.
What facilities are available on site?
We have shared, metered electric hookups to the campervans/motorhomes and an extra waterpoint in the field.
We provide 2 bathrooms (one male, one female) each with toilet, shower, sink and hairdryer. There is a third unisex toilet too.
The kitchen room provides 2 large washing up sinks, hot water, electric kettle and microwave plus undercounter fridge for those staying in tents.
We provide drinking water, waste and grey‑water disposal. We don’t offer Wi‑Fi, but mobile data coverage is strong across the site.
There is a spacious wooden shelter offering protection from the weather and a place to sit, meet, play games, craft or eat.
We hope to have a small shop on site to hire out firepits and sell wood and kindling. Likely to stock local produce jams, marmalade and eggs.
We can host pizza parties using our cob pizza oven. We provide the dough and sauce and a range of toppings. (This is subject to numbers with a minimum of 4 people).
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well‑behaved dogs are welcome on campervan and tent pitches. (A maximum of 2 dogs per pitch)* Please keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
We do have free-range chickens and children on site and are surrounded by sheep so it is important that dogs are kept under close control. We are alongside a road so again, for their own safety, please keep dogs on a lead.
When our bottom field is not in use for sheep grazing, dogs can be exercised in there off the lead, providing all dog poo is picked up and removed. It is a hedge-lined field so not 100% escape proof!

If dogs show behaviour considered dangerous/anti-social, excessive barking or running loose on the site or other property, you will be asked to leave, no payment will be refunded.
Check‑In, Check‑Out & Booking

Check‑in is from 3pm and check‑out is by 11am.
How do I book a pitch?
Bookings are made online through our website. You’ll pay a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before arrival. Charges will be based on the full, pre-booked length of your stay.
If booking less than 14 days ahead, online payment in full is required, non-refundable.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free if more than 14 days ahead of your booking arrival date.
Cancellation between 14 and 7 days ahead of arrival date – deposit will be lost and balance refunded.
If cancelling 7 days or less from arrival date, no refund will be issued.
Please understand we are a small, family business and can not afford lost bookings.
Please take out holiday insurance to cover any losses.
Is there a minimum age to book?
Yes, the person making the booking must be 18yrs or over.
Do you allow group bookings?
Group bookings are allowed for campervan/motorhome guests, if the group books all 5 campervan pitches. Tent pitches can be booked as a group (maximum 10 adult guests) if guests are bringing singl/double tents. *contact Jane if you are a group leader and need to discuss further.

Can children stay on site?
Children are welcome on campervan/motorhome pitches.
Tent pitches are for adult guests only or 16yr+ accompanying an adult. *contact Jane on hello@cotswoldcampervanstays.co.uk to discuss if you are walking with younger children.
Do you have a maximum stay length?
To be confirmed upon licence regulations from Cotswold District Council.
Are firepits and bbq’s allowed?
Yes. We will be hiring out firepits, and selling wood and kindling which can be used only in designated, gravelled areas.
Bbq’s can be used providing they are 30cm or more off the ground to prevent ground damage and safely away from vehicles/buildings. In times of drought or high wind neither firepits or bbq’s will be permitted.
BBQ’s to be extinguished by 10pm.
🌳 Site Rules & Policies
What are your quiet hours?
We operate a quiet‑site policy between 10pm and 8am to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests. Guests are asked not to move vehicles off the site before 8am.
Can I park my car on site?
Yes — we can accommodate up to 5 cars, but please let us know in advance if you’re arriving by car so we can allocate space in our car park (you cannot park next to the tents or motorhomes).
For those towing a car from a motorhome, please let us know you want a car park space.
Exploring the Cotswolds
How far is Chipping Campden from the site?
It’s a 15-20 minute walk from our site into Chipping Campden along a fairly level roadside footpath. The path is narrow in parts and can be slippery from fallen leaves and mud in autumn/winter.
Chipping Campden offers a number of pubs, tearooms, restaurants, independent shops, and a cultural museum.
What attractions are nearby Cotswold Campervan Stays?
We’re close to several popular Cotswold destinations, including:

- Cotswold Farm Park
- Stratford-upon-Avon just outside the Cotswolds
Are there public transport links nearby?
Yes. Local bus services operated by Pulhams, Stagecoach and The Hedgehog connect Chipping Campden with Cheltenham, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Moreton‑in‑Marsh and other local villages.
What is the nearest train station?
The closest rail station is Moreton‑in‑Marsh or Honeybourne with direct services to Oxford, Reading, and London. Cheltenham is the nearest main station.
